NWRA Women’s Council Carts on Display

**Open to all badge holders

The Women’s Council is pleased to present the return of Carts on Display, a sponsored art competition that will take place at WasteExpo. Entrants in the competition may supply their own 32/35-gallon or 64/65-gallon cart, or a 65-gallon cart will be provided to them. Entrants must decorate with artwork that promotes the growth of the waste and recycling industry.

Although on the industry’s radar for years, recent pushes and mainstream discussions on sustainability, EPR, manufacturing, fast fashion and pandemic behaviors have truly shone a light on the growing issue. Waste360's TRASHION runway show will feature local upcycled designers and thrifted stylists who’ve breathed new life into discarded items. Join us for a fun, and impactful way to shine our own spotlight on one method for waste diversion. So let’s just change clothes…and go. A-ha!

The Waste360 40 Under 40 awards program recognizes inspiring and innovative professionals under the age of 40 whose work in waste, recycling and organics has made a significant contribution to the industry. The winners are involved in every part of the waste and recycling industry, including haulers, municipalities, composters, recycling professionals, policymakers, and product suppliers.

Each year the award winners are invited to WasteExpo for the award reception. Tickets to the reception can now be purchased through WasteExpo registration. Tables (up to 8) and individual seats are also available. There are also several opportunities to become a supporting sponsor.
