Be a Thought Leader on All Things Waste, Recycling, Healthcare Waste, Organics, Food Recovery and Sustainability

Planning for the 2024 Conference Programming across WasteExpo has begun. We’re officially gearing up for May 6-9, 2024 in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA.

We’re looking for new and seasoned speakers to lead engaging educational sessions on the latest trends and emerging topics within our
    industry.

Speaking at WasteExpo and its co-located events positions you as a subject matter expert in your field. Attendees expect high-quality,
applicable content. Your participation, as representative extension of the WasteExpo brand, must therefore adhere to and meet quality standards.

Category & Track Selection Criteria

CATEGORY & TRACK SELECTION CRITERIA
Criteria: Pick the category/track that 'best fits' your session proposal:

  • Food Recovery Forum - any content on food waste prevention, reduction, and recovery. This includes business models, and technologies and ‘apps’ to improve food waste reduction throughout the supply chain.
  • Organics Management - any content on Organics Recycling, including composting, AD, and other conversion technologies, collection, diversion, processing, business models, infrastructure development, and policies.
  • Waste Management and Recycling
    • Business Insights & Policy - content that focuses on the business and policy aspects of our industry.
    • Operations, Fleet & Safety - content that discusses the core topics of our industry.
    • Recycling & Landfill - content that focuses on recycling, MRFs, markets, landfilll tech, processes, emissions, etc.
    • Technology & Innovation - all things tech and tech-driven, AI, automation, apps, etc.
  • Sustainability Talks - specific content that highlights all things sustainable and educates those responsible for overseeing sustainability. This track often crosses over other tracks and that is acceptable. If you intentionally want to highlight sustainability, select this track.
  • Healthcare Waste Conference - co-located event. Covers any content considered healthcare waste-related.

WasteExpo reserves the right to place each accepted proposal in assigned tracks.

Speaker Requirements and Standards:

  • Real-world, applicable content sessions that include customer participation will be given preference in the selection process.
  • If you are planning to submit a case study presentation, customers are required, and you must include their names as presenters during the submission process.
  • Submissions will be evaluated on quality and appropriateness of subject matter and should include the key points of "what attendees will learn.”
  • If selected, you are committing to meet speaker deadlines for process deliverables.
  • If selected, you will adhere to our strict “No Sales Pitch” policy; your expertise in your topic defines you.
  • If you do not adhere to the No-Sales-Pitch policy you will not be invited back to speak at future WasteExpo events.

All sessions are meant to be purely educational, and though they may include case studies and real-life examples using specific tools or products, it should not be a marketing tool to promote one particular product over another.

Speaker Benefits:

  • Complimentary registration to attend the entire conference & exhibition.
  • Recognition among your colleagues and visibility on promotional materials.
  • Inclusion of your presentation in the post conference on-demand sessions and access to complimentary access to all on-demand sessions.
  • Unlimited networking opportunities with 14,500 attendees and more than 600 exhibitors from every sector of the industry.
