Option 2: Battle of the Outbreaks: What Now?

There is no better way to prepare for the future than to learn from the past. COVID-19 was not the first virus to impact the waste industry, but it will have a lasting effect on how we do business. We recognize that things are different from one outbreak to the next, so how does Coronavirus compare to Swine Flu and Ebola when it comes to managing waste? What was the aftermath of previous outbreaks? How was the waste managed? What were the similarities between those outbreaks and COVID-19? What were the differences? Will we need to make drastic changes to prepare for the next pandemic or are current practices sufficient? Find the answers to these questions and more during this intriguing session.
