Feeding America is the nation’s largest domestic hunger-relief and food-rescue organization. Our network is made up of 200 member food banks and 60,000 food pantries and meal programs that all 50 states and Puerto Rico.

Food Waste Reduction Alliance: 

Formed in 2011, the Food Waste Reduction Alliance (FWRA) operates under the auspices of the food sector’s leading trade associations, the Grocery Manufacturers Association (GMA), the Food Marketing Institute (FMI), and the National Restaurant Association (NRA). This landmark, cross-industry initiative includes more than 30 manufacturing, retailing, and restaurant and foodservice companies. Focused on the section of the U.S. supply chain represented by these industries, FWRA has three goals: to reduce food waste in our operations, increase food donated to those in need, and increase the recycling of unavoidable food waste to keep that material out of landfills.
