If you are interested in speaking, you must submit an abstract/proposal. Find out more on the guidelines here.
What is the Registration Cancellation Policy for WasteExpo?
WasteExpo recognizes that both professional and personal situations can result in needing to make a change to business travel. Therefore, if your plans change, substitutions are always welcome in lieu of cancellations. If written notice is received by March 20, 2014 the registration fee will be refunded less a $75 processing fee. After March 20, 2014 cancellations are non-refundable. Approved refunds will be processed within 2 weeks. Refunds will not be issued for no-show registrants. Please note the program is subject to change at any time. In the event a session that you have registered for is no longer offered, your registration will be transferred to another class of your choosing provided space is available. If a suitable class is not available, your registration fees may be refunded or credited to the following year, however Penton will not be liable for any ancillary or related costs, including, but not limited to hotel and airline charges or cancellation fees due to weather or other conditions or circumstances beyond our control. Requests for refunds can be submitted by email to: WasteExpo@compusystems.com, or fax: +1-708-344-4444. Please refer to www.WasteExpo.com for the most up-to-date information

How do I make hotel reservations?

You can visit the Travel Page anytime to check hotel information. Through our official housing partner, onPeak, we provide reduced hotel rates and travel discounts for your trip to Atlanta. While other hotel resellers may contact you offering housing for your trip, they are NOT endorsed by or affiliated with the show and entering into financial agreements with such companies can have costly consequences.

How do I obtain an invitation letter in order to get my visa to enter the United States?
During the registration process for WasteExpo 2014 you will have to opportunity to request a visa invitation. Once your registration is complete your visa invitation will be included in your show confirmation email or available on your Dashboard. If you are unable to obtain a visa, we will issue a full refund without charging the cancellation fee.

How can I contract a booth for WasteExpo?
You may contact one of our sales executives in our Become an Exhibitor section of the WasteExpo website to inquire about booth selection or for a Step-by-Step process including contracts, etc. Booths are assigned on a first-come, first served basis.

How much is it to attend the WasteExpo Exhibit Hall/Show Floor?
It is $60 until March 20, 2014 and goes up to $85 after that early-bird cut-off date. ***Dates and price are subject to change.
Do exhibitors receive Conference Passes?

Yes, this is a huge benefit to our exhibitors. Exhibitors can attend the WasteExpo Conference sessions at no additional charge. They simply need to provide a valid Exhibitor badge and a photo ID. This does not include the workshops, Waste Training Institute, Lunch-n-Learns, etc. and those can be purchased separately at an additional charge.

  • Persons under 18 years of age will not be permitted in the exhibit hall area during installation and dismantling hours.
  • During show hours, persons under 18 years of age must be accompanied at all times by a parent or guardian.
  • Children under 18 years of age are NOT allowed in the Conference Rooms at anytime.
  • No strollers/carriages are permitted on the show floor.

What do I get with a standard 10x10 booth?

  • Draped exhibit space with 8'3" backdrop and 3' side dividers.
  • 7"x44" Company ID sign including company name and booth number.
  • All Exhibitor badges are unlimited and free if ordered by 3/20/14. Badges ordered after 3/20/14 and onsite are allotted as follows:
    • Four FREE badges for the first 100 square feet
    • Another Four FREE badges for each additional 100 square feet to a maximum of 50 free badges.
    • Badges beyond this allotment are priced at $50 per badge for EIA/WASTE/NSWMA members, $55 per badge for non-members.
    • IMPORTANT: Exhibitor badges are for exhibitor personnel, not for guests, attendees or EAC personnel.
    • Exhibitors can attend the WasteExpo Conference Sessions at no additional charge. They must have a valid Exhibitor badge and a photo ID. This does NOT include the Workshops, Lunch-n-Learns, Awards Breakfast, Investor Summit and any Healthcare Waste conference sessions and events.
    • Each exhibitor is entitled to 2 FREE Welcome Reception Tickets (Monday, April 28 from 6:30pm – 9:30 pm) per 100 sq. ft. booth up to 40 tickets maximum. Tickets above your entitlement are $75 each.
    • Unlimited Guest Passes for your marketing campaign, inviting your clients and prospects to visit your booth.
    • Company listing on the Exhibitor List included in attendee marketing materials.
    • Company listing in the official Show Directory used by over 12,000 people during and after the show.
    • Complimentary online Exhibitor Listing including contact information, link and a 50-word description.
    • Exhibitor Service Kit: a guide to smooth planning, installing and dismantling of your exhibit space.

Attendee photography or videography is NOT permitted at any time.
Can I take photographs/videos while I am on the show floor?
Exhibitors are permitted to photograph and/or video tape their own booth. Working members of the press are required to check-in at Registration, receive an authorization badge and be escorted by Marketing in order to photograph and/or videotape at the show. No other photography or videography is permitted. Exhibitors who do not want the press to photograph or video tape their booth should inform Marketing staff onsite.
